Allow Yourself to be Known by God...
and to be Loved in the Knowing

Lent is a time of soul searching; we take this penitential time seriously. We need to look humbly and honestly at our need for repentance. Where are our feet frozen in sinful, destructive behaviors; abits/addictions, and life styles? Where are we dangerously stuck in sin?

That is the call of lent, “Repent and believe the Good News!”

It is the stone of our hearts that has to be broken through in order for those life-giving springs to be tapped in us. Faith in Jesus can do that, faith and trust in the knowledge of God who knows, loves and accepts us as we are. That is who Jesus is for us.

To know even as we are known, is to experience intimacy with God. That is the salvation Jesus offers us this Lent. Will you allow yourselves to be known by God...and loved even in the knowing?
