St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church - Naperville, IL
One in the Spirit, One in Christ

Scripture tells us we are created in the image and likeness of God. That does not mean somehow that God looks like us, God is Spirit, so what we mean by that is when we see people living in the Spirit, in God's love, we see and get a glimpse of the "Imago Dei" in which we are created. We see it in the faithful love of a husband and wife, in the loving relationships of a family, in friendship, in community, and here in church; in the ways people reconcile and work to build a world of right relationships that produce Justice and Peace. We are baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, into the Trinitarian life. It is an experience of community. It is a reflection of who we are as we live and share our lives and love. Join the St. Thomas community as we focus on Being the Difference in our personal relationships with God, each other and our world. Continued >>
