THE SACRAMENTS OF INITIATION: The Foundation of Every Christian Life
Baptisms are usually celebrated at least two Sundays each month at the12:45 pm service. Baptisms are also occasionally celebrated during weekend Masses. Parents are required to be registered members of the parish and to attend a Baptism preparation class prior to the Baptism. Baptism preparation, a one-night awareness and renewal program, generally occurs on a weeknight. Call the Church Office at 630.355.8980, ext. 100, a few months in advance to make arrangements. Baptismal Preparation for Older Children Parents who wish to have their children (ages five and older) receive the sacrament of Baptism are asked to contact Patti Dougherty in the Religious Education Office at 630.355.8980, ext. 109.
