PLC Commission
Parish Councils arose out of the documents of Vatican II and were later called for in the revised Code of Canon Law. Their purpose is to implient the idea of "shared responsibility" among all the baptized for the building up of the Church.
"Pastoral Leadership Community" best describes what has evolved in our parish.
One of the purposes of the PLC is to share information and to ensure communication and coordination of ministries in the parish. another is to affirm and ipower people involved in ministry. The PLC supports, without supplanting, the pastoral staff and the various commissions in working toward these purposes. Those commissions are: Worship; Parish Life; Faith Formation; Administration; Service; and, Stewardship.
