Service Commission Ministries

Eucharistic Visits: Ministers of Care (650)
Brings compassion and the Presence of the church to the sick and the homebound. The Minister of Care provides communion and spiritual care on a regular basis to those parishioners hospitalized and homebound and to the elderly that are homebound or in nursing homes. Prayer Network (653)
(Adult, HS) Pray for the sick and special needs in our faith community. All Pastoral Care ministries provide names to the Prayer Ministry (Prayer Chain).

Health Ministry (675)
(Adult): Nurses (RNs) are invited to assist with the health promotion, monthly blood pressure screenings (Sept thru May). Monthly schedules will be prepared with the nurses' availabiity and mass preference.

Wellspring (676)
Assist with planning and execution of health education programs, and is an advocate in all areas of body, mind and spirit ministry.

Elizabeth Ministry (677)
Provides women of childbearing years one-to-one support for spiritual, emotional and physical needs. Additional ministry help is needed to bless, wrap and present Blessed Blankies to newly baptized babies. If you would like to make blankets, please see 678 Prayer Shawl Ministry.

Prayer Shawl Ministry (678)
Handcrafters create prayer shawls, prayer squares, and chemo caps for individuals in medical, emotional or spiritual crisis and in time of celebration. Group meetings, support and instruction are available. Youth and teens are welcome.

Rosary Ministry (679)
Through prayer, fun & fellowship, members of the Rosary ministry help open the door for others to have a deeper prayer life. New members are taught to make wire or simple cord rosaries that are distributed around the world to comfort those in need. Open to all ages.
