St. Thomas is here to companion you on your faith journey and we are pleased to offer the following paths to new growth....
ALPHA If you have long-standing, faith-related questions and have never been quite sure where to go for answers consider ALPHA. ALPHA is a an 11-week program that covers the basics of the Christian faith. Guests (that’s you) socialize over a meal, witness a presentation and join others for small-group discussions. ALPHA will stretch your mind, stir your conscience, touch your heart and engage your will. Gatherings Small Christian Communities Would you like to be a part of a small group of Christians sharing and exploring faith and prayer? GATHERINGS Small Christian Communities are comprised of 6 to 12 individuals who meet for about an hour and a half twice a month in homes as a way to get to know other Catholics in an informal and meaningful way. Small groups at St. Thomas exist in a variety of formats. Click this link for more information
Gathering with the Word GOOD NEWS! That’s what “Gospel” means and that’s what you can experience as a participant in a “Gathering with the Word” small group. Three times a year, 6-8 week sessions. Small communities of 8-10 people gather weekly for 90 minutes, with each community choosing its own day, time, and meeting place to talk about the Sunday Scriptures, using a guide booklet prepared by Fr. Pat Brennan. Choose to participate in the fall, during Lent, the Easter season – or all 3. Registration for Gathering with the Word takes place approximately 2-3 weeks prior to start date. R.C.I.A. R.C.I.A. is not just for those who want to convert to the Catholic faith. Adult Catholics who did not receive all of their sacraments as children and who desire to do so as adults can do so through the R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) program.
