Aurora Mission Trip Recap

On June 15 and 16, St. Thomas teens and adults took part in the Aurora Mission Trip. This experience is done in conjunction with an organization called Rebuilding Together. During the two days, volunteers worked on two homes in Aurora painting, cleaning, drywalling, building stairs, replacing floor tiles, installing new kitchen cabinets, and doing yard clean-up. Time was also spent praying and reflecting on Catholic social teaching and the dignity of each person.It was a wonderful experience and would not have been possible without the help of Maddie Blaha, Sean Campbell, Nicole Chase, Victoria Dimonte, Devin Jacobs, Nicole Marcus, Colin McGarel, Danny McGarel, Allison Mecaskey, Ryan Mecaskey, Hannah Michaeu, Donovan O’Grady, Zach Ruvaric, Caroline Saxon, Lauren Tropinski, Hannah Wernecke, Jack Wernecke, Karen Blaha, Jim Campbell, Maureen Mecaskey, Gail Micheau, and Randy and Marya Wernecke.
