Protecting God's Children - Training Sessions

The “Protecting God’s Children” Program is a very pro-active, positive, professional approach to preventing child sexual abuse. This Program is now part of diocesan policy to establish a “safe environment” for members of our parish.

While “Protecting God’s Children” sessions are primarily for all staff and volunteers who work with children, they are also open to any parent or person from the parish who wishes to attend.

To register for the workshop, or to find other churches in the area that are hosting this required session, please click the following link for the Diocese of Joliet website. Look to left hand side and click on the words "Protecting Children. " On the next page scroll down until you see "Virtus Protecting God's Children Workshop Schedule". Each training session lasts three hours, so please arrive promptly.
