New Assistant Director of Liturgy and Music Hired

We are proud to announce that Scott Knisley has been hired as our new Assistant Director of Liturgy & Music!

Having lived in Aurora all his life, Scott comes to St. Thomas after serving in many parishes throughout the Diocese of Rockford, most recently as Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Katharine Drexel in Sugar Grove. He is an accomplished pianist, organist, and guitarist, and has been involved in liturgical music all of his life. Outside of Liturgical Music, Scott has also been active as a Pit Band Director for quite a few high school musicals in the Aurora area including “Beauty and the Beast” and “Legally Blonde”. His musical style ranges from classical to jazz and everything in between! Scott notes that his true passion comes from empowering youth to be involved in ministry, as well as watching them grow in their love of music and the church.
