701 – Social Planners
(Adults; HS) Work with staff to plan and coordinate social receptions after special parish events. Also, organize larger parish social events throughout the year. (Previous events have been Oktoberfest, parish picnic, St. Joseph table, luncheons, St. Patrick’s Party, etc.).

702 – Saturday Social & Donut Sunday
Be a part of one of the most popular parish socials. Attend to parishioners and visitors by ensuriing refreshments and beverages are plentiful. Choose your preferred Mass time and level of responsibility. This is a “Welcoming Ministry” Click here to find out what this means

703 – Nursery Co-op
Use the nursery and offer time for the co-op. Registration is twice a year: September – December and January – mid June. The nursery serves children ages 1-4 on Sundays during the 9:30 & 11:15 masses. Available to non co-op members for a nominal fee.*

704 – Babysitters
(Adult, HS, MS.) Provide babysitting for week-day church meetings. A small stipend is given.

705 – Stay, Pray & Play
This group targets moms, dads and caregivers of children of all ages. Weekley meetings offer friendship, dialogue and prayer time. Held on a regular schedule October through March – either morning or afternoon sessions.

706 – Fusion Core Team
(Adult 18-25): Help plan specific college events for St. Thomas. Core Team meets every other month.

710 – Cultural Awareness Groups
Help St. Thomas be more diverse and inclusive of all ethnicity. In order to be successful in reaching this goal, the African American, Asian and Hispanic cultural awareness groups have been formed as part of Parish Life. If you are a member of one of these ethnic groups, or have an interest in any of the groups, we are asking for your participation. We need your input, creative ideas and recommendations on how St. Thomas can be more welcoming and inclusive. Elementary knowledge of Spanish would be helpful for the Hispanic Ministry as they have already begun ministering to the homebound, Care Pantry families and participants in religious education programs.

711 – Funeral Ministry
Minister to individuals and families by providing a luncheon for funeral or wake service

712 – Knights of Columbus
The Naperville Knights of Columbus were founded in 1908 and is a Catholic Men’s Fraternal Organization open to practicing Catholic men 18 years and older. Join these men, whose focus on faith, service, community, family, youth and fellowship benefit the church and the community at large.

713 – Prime Time
Committee members needed to help facilitate activities for St. Thomas Prime Time monthly social gatherings.
