The St. Thomas Jobs Ministry is working with members of the St. Sabina Employment Resource Center for a men’s and women’s “interview-ready” clothing drive. If you’re retired or your present job status no longer requires a traditional suit (and tie), khaki pants and blazer, or dress for the workplace, donate these items for job applicants at St Sabina. They will put your items to good use as they prepare for that all important job interview. Fr. Pfleger, Pastor at St. Sabina, gave a challenging and passion filled homily at the 6:00 p.m. Mass at St. Thomas on Sunday, March 2.
Save the Date and Get Donations Prepared
Take some time to prepare your unused clothing (including work appropriate footwear) for its new owner by getting your donation professionally cleaned, sealed, and tagged by size in a plastic bag. Starting March 24, place donated items on the rack marked in the Gathering Area. Donations are due by Palm
Sunday, April 14. Items will be delivered to St. Sabina the following week.
