Fri, May 3, 9:30 am: Cynthia Wade will present ‘What do You Need to Succeed” Everyone is asking that question. Resolutions to do better. We all make them. Whether we resolve to start our own business, finally write that book, run a marathon, go back to school, volunteer more, repair our relationships, or how about just be happy, we usually fail. So what do we need to do differently to succeed? According to Cynthia Wade, founder and managing director at do-over.me it’s simple. Not easy, but simple. Wade founded do-over.me in March of 2013 to support people who are frozen in the face of life’s transitions. She believes that everyone deserves a do-over, another chance to succeed. Education and experience have taught her that the path to success is not linear, not always clear and definitely messy. Yet some individuals do succeed. Why?

When we are in our comfort zones, we become complacent and are not learning. It is called “Comfort Zone” for a reason… we don’t have to face any risk. Losing your job is Life throwing you the curveball of Chaos. You’re forced out of the comfort zone and into a whole new arena called the Land of Unemployment. This workshop will discuss the impact that Change brings and how to look for meaning in the swirling clouds of Chaos. It will also look at the past, current, and future job market to find opportunities. There are three constants in Life…Death, Taxes, and Change. Since we have no control over the first two, let’s take advantage of the opportunities created by the latter, Change! Join us for this informative & enlightening program.
