Brings compassion and the Presence of the church to the sick and the homebound.
a. Ministers of Care: Provide communion and spiritual care to hospitalized and homebound parishioners (and others as needed/requested). Training provided.
b. Ministers of Care for Seriously Ill: Provide for the spiritual needs of the seriously ill and their loved ones. Bereavement ministers offer to journey with the family after death. Training provided.
c. Befriending Companion (HS, adult): Provide listening and friendship to the sick, lonely, elderly and homebound on an ongoing basis. Training provided.
d. Ministers of Care to Nursing Homes: Provide Eucharist, communion services, and group rosary opportunities to the residents in nursing homes. Training provided.

Assist with health promotion, blood pressure education and screening (September through May).

(MS – adult) Knit/crochet prayer shawls, prayer squares, and chemo caps for those in medical, emotional or spiritual need, and baptismal blankets for the newly baptized.

Create simple cord rosaries to share locally and worldwide. Opportunity to lead rosary prayer time in nursing care homes. Training provided.
