Scott Knisley has served as Director of Music at Liturgy at St. Thomas the Apostle since August 1, 2023. Scott has served the Catholic Church as a liturgist and music director for nearly 20 years throughout Illinois, Southern California and Southern Nevada. Most recently, he served as a member of the Liturgy and Music staff for Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Bishop Gorman High School in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.

In addition to parish ministry, Scott has also served the church as music director for archdiocesan liturgies and conferences. He has also been very active on the national level as a performer for concerts and workshops at the National Pastoral Musicians Conference, Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, and was the choir director for several National Catholic Youth Conferences.

Outside of liturgical music, Scott has been a voice and piano educator, retreat musician, and an orchestra director for several musicals at the high school level. Scott’s musical style ranges from classical to jazz and everything in between and finds great joy in his ministry with the people of St. Thomas.
