Message from Fr. Peter
The following is a message from Fr. Peter he wanted to share with the St. Thomas Community.
As Deacon, Larry Kearney‘s grandma used to say, when it rains it pours.
Although I’m feeling pretty good from the heart surgery. I’ve had continued bleeding off and on, sometimes heavy, due to a catheter that was placed after my heart surgery.
Then, just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, I came down with Covid. Fortunately, it’s just like a bad case of the flu (I never thought I would say a “bad case of the flu” is good). I have to quarantine because I sure don’t want anybody else to get it.
Due to the quarantine and the need to stop the bleeding. I am going to be out for a little while longer than I had planned. Based on everything the doctors are saying. Best case I can start to ease back into the office starting August 15.
That appears to be God‘s plan for me! And so I need to work with that!
Please continue to pray for me, I pray for all of you every day.
Blessings and peace,
Fr. Peter
Pastor
