Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is an opportunity for servant leadership in our community.  As a committed group of people who meet monthly, we strive to represent all facets of parish life and support the staff and pastor to ensure the spiritual and financial well-being of the parish. Our intent is to be a unifying presence with an understanding of how the parish and all its components function.  In its pastoral role, the PPC shepherds and guides the parish forward by establishing a vision and goals for its future.  It also grounds the parish in living out our mission of being an inclusive servant community bearing Christ to the world through word and deed from the strength of our Eucharistic foundation.  In its council role, the PPC responsibly oversees expenditures and serves as advisor to the pastor. It makes decisions in a spirit of collaboration and shared wisdom for the healthy growth of the whole parish.

The PPC is comprised of representatives from each of the 5 parish Commissions (Service and Outreach, Faith and Spiritual Growth, Parish Life, Worship, and Finance) as well as members-at-large who are involved in a variety of parish ministries. Through the support and oversight of the PPC, Commissions and ministries thrive and flourish.  The Parish Pastoral Council endeavors to be the eyes and ears in the Body of Christ to best guide the hands and feet in the action of living out the Gospel.
