High School Faith Formation
Our Program Helps Teens Believe, Belong and Make a Difference
High school youth ministry provides a welcoming space where teens can grow in faith, friendship, and purpose. Through engaging discussions, meaningful service projects, and fun social activities, students are encouraged to explore their relationship with God and discover how faith can guide them through the challenges and joys of daily life. The program offers opportunities for teens to ask questions, share their experiences, and find strength and encouragement within a supportive group of peers and adult mentors who care deeply about their spiritual journey.
We invite teen participants to reflect on Scripture, pray together and connect their beliefs to real-life situations. Retreats, mission trips, and community outreach experiences help young people see faith in action and understand the importance of compassion, justice, and service to others. These moments often become defining experiences that inspire teens to live out their values with confidence and kindness in their schools, homes, and friendships.
- Offers experiences that help teens grow in faith, confidence, and leadership.
- Builds lasting friendships through shared service, reflection and spiritual discovery.
- Encourages students to live their values and make a positive impact in their community.
- Volunteers are required to take Protecting God’s Children and have a background check.
Parents are seen as essential partners in the process, with opportunities to share in their teen’s faith journey through family events, liturgies, and service activities.
Our High School Religious Education and Youth Ministry program helps students prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation and to live faith-filled lives.
Through laughter, learning, and shared prayer, the program helps create a sense of belonging and connection that extends beyond weekly meetings. It encourages students to see their faith as a lifelong journey rather than a single stage of life. As they prepare for adulthood, participants leave with a deeper understanding of God’s presence in their lives and a lasting commitment to living with compassion, integrity and hope.
