Christine Goba joined St. Thomas in the summer of 2025 as the Director of Religious Education. She brings with her more than 38 years of catechetical experience, serving in a wide range of ministry roles over the years. Her experience includes:
- Special Needs Coordinator
- Confirmation Prep Teacher
- OCIA Leader
- Director of Religious Education (DRE)
- Youth Ministry and Bible Study Leader
Christine previously served at St. Michael Parish in Wheaton and Christ the Servant in Woodridge, where she shared her gifts and passion for faith formation.
She and her husband, Michael, are parishioners at Christ the King in Lombard and are proud parents of four adult children — all of whom work in the Church.
Christine on St. Thomas
Christine loves interacting with the children who come to St. Thomas for Religious Education classes. She commented, “The kids are awesome. They say the most wonderful things. They have such a pure and honest faith.”
