As the Family Connections Coordinator, Laura helps families with both appropriate ministries and with each other to better foster community within our parish. Laura’s work with young families gives the parish a better understanding of our parish’s family’s spiritual and emotional needs. One of Laura’s goals is to connect families with opportunities for age-appropriate formation.

More About Laura
Before working at St. Thomas, Laura had worked in marketing and advertising, a career she left to stay at home with her two sons. Once her boys were both in school, she joined the St. Thomas staff, where she has served as a catechist and religious education coordinator. She went on from there to take the role of Director of Religious Education, a position she held for two years. Laura recently stepped down from that role to focus her attention on St. Thomas’s smallest parishioners.
Laura is a Naperville native who attended Benet Academy. She is an alumna of Indiana University – Bloomington where she studied Communications and Spanish.
Laura on St. Thomas
Since moving back from Chicago seven years ago, Laura has found St. Thomas to be welcoming to all, especially to the youth. She loves the kind, loving community, and she loves watching children there grow in faith. She believes visitors will feel the spirit of Christ while they’re at St. Thomas.
