On Tuesday, April 21, PrimeTime is excited to welcome back Music Therapist Mary Helen Ekstam entitled with a new program: Music, Memory and the Brain focusing on Dementia and other cognitive difficulties as we age. She is a board certified music therapist as well as a certified dementia practitioner and has been working in the health care industry as a therapist and in leadership positions for the past forty years with expertise in neurological rehabilitation, hospice and palliative care, and music therapy. Mary Helen has presented at over 500 national and regional conferences as well as presented over one thousand programs on the Neurological Perspective of Music, Memory and the Brain.
