Evening with Author Grant Avery April 27
Faith and Science: Awe, Silence and the Search for Meaning
Join us Monday, April 27, from 7:00–8:30 pm for a unique and inspiring evening with author Grant Avery whose upcoming book, Messages from a Quiet Land, explores the intersection of faith, science and the human search for meaning.
Grant spent 501 days living and working in Antarctica, where moments of profound beauty and silence opened the door to deeper spiritual insight. Through personal stories and reflection, he will share how experiences of awe, quiet and wonder can lead us to a greater awareness of God — even in the midst of our busy and distracted lives.
This evening will include two short presentations and time for questions and conversation.
All are welcome — especially adults, young adults and older teens who are interested in the relationship between faith and science and the search for deeper meaning in life.
Come and discover how God can be found in both the quiet moments and the wonder of the world around us.
