Behavioral Health Ministry
May is Mental Health Month with the tagline “Stigma grows in Silence.” At St. Thomas we try to remain aware of the importance of mental health in all we do. We reach out to those struggling through prayer intentions at Mass, mental health related presentations, ongoing support for those grieving and bulletin articles exploring mental wellness. In addition, every May we hold a special Mass in honor of St. Dymphna, the patron Saint of those with mental illness. Our Wellness office has community resources and book recommendations, as well as offering consultations for those needing a listening companion. Reach out to us if you have ideas for other ways we might serve our community.
