A Rare Opportunity: The Relics Are Coming to St. Thomas
This fall, St. Thomas has a rare and remarkable opportunity to welcome Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino of Assisi and the relics of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi and Saint Carlo Acutis.
The visit of the relics September 1 is part of our ongoing celebration of the Jubilee of St. Francis of Assisi and will be the first of several special opportunities for our parish community to gather in prayer, reflection, learning and celebration.
On Tuesday, September 1, the relics of Saints Clare, Francis and Carlo Acutis will be displayed in the church beginning at 5:00 pm. Mass will follow at 7:00 pm, along with an opportunity for veneration of the relics.
This is a unique opportunity to gather as a parish community and encounter the lives and witness of three extraordinary saints. We hope you will join us for this memorable evening — and continue the journey with us throughout the fall as we celebrate the life and legacy of St. Francis of Assisi.
