International Day of Peace Prayer Service September 20
Each year, the International Day of Peace invites people around the world to recommit themselves to nonviolence, compassion, and peace. This year’s theme, “Invest in Peace — For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” honors the everyday people in schools, neighborhoods, and local communities who help build a more peaceful world.
The International Day of Peace is observed September 21. To honor this day, we will gather for a short prayer service Sunday, September 20, after the 11:15 am Mass, around 12:30 pm, at the Peace Pole. Please join us as we pray for and envision a more just and peaceful world.
