Nurturing Spiritual, Physical, and Behavioral Health
As the Director of Pastoral Care and Wellness, Nancy brings her lifetime of faith and her experience as a clinical psychologist to offer care for each parishioner as a whole person. Nancy oversees various ministries that foster good mental, physical and spiritual health:
- Prime Time Senior Group
- Prayer Shawl Ministry
- Behavioral Health Ministry
- Health Ministry
- Annual Ministry Fair
Nancy also offers Consultation and Referral services to parishioners. People often wonder if
outside services, such as counseling or support groups might be helpful in dealing with life’s
difficulties. Nancy can work with you to understand your situation more clearly, and if desired,
find community resources to assist.
Currently, Nancy is honored to be working on the Parish Leadership Team. In addition,
Nancy coordinates the safety projects in the Church building and for staff, including staff CPR training and updating first aid kits.
About Nancy
An alumna of the University of North Texas, Nancy is a licensed clinical psychologist who worked in the field for over twenty years. Nancy retired, but felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit that she still had more to give. She has been with St. Thomas since September 2023.

Nancy has found working at St. Thomas to be inspiring and meaningful. She finds joy in helping parishioners find their niche at St. Thomas, and has watched many individuals grow their faith and even become leaders in their ministries.
