Birthday Bags
Each year families who participate in Scripture Safari work to give back to a ministry. This year, the lucky recipient of this collection is the Care Pantry! More specifically, the Care Pantry received over 60 “birthday bag” kits to pass out during a future distribution. Did you know that a can of Sprite can replace the eggs in a boxed cake recipe? These kits were designed to make our pantry families feel special on their birthdays, even when they may be out of eggs. The bags include: a box of cake, a 12 oz can of Sprite, a pack of birthday candles, a tub of frosting and a disposable pan. Many pantry recipients ask for some kind of treat mix for their family birthday celebrations. This idea is sure to be a hit! Thank you to all the Scripture Safari campers and their families, along with the staff and volunteers who made this happen.
