Care Pantry Garden Thanks
For the past decade or so, Lorna Perry could be found working in the Care Pantry garden behind the church. So much effort has been poured into this labor of love, and that love can be heard in her voice when she shares updates about what’s growing. Although you can tell it has always been a sanctuary for her, her top priority was ensuring that the garden yielded fresh produce for Care Pantry families. After many years devoted to the garden, Lorna has stepped away to focus on her family. Thank you, Lorna, for the countless hours spent tending to this important part of our community.
In recent months, Larry Hjorth has stepped in and graciously dedicated his time to the garden. He immediately got to work so that our pantry families will have fresh herbs and produce available when it comes time to harvest. Thank you, Larry, for your dedication to the success of the garden.
