‘Holy Trouble’ Makers
Holiness does not always mean going along with the crowd. Sometimes it means speaking truth to power, confronting injustice, standing with people on the margins or refusing to accept that things must remain as they are. Throughout history, women and men of faith have risked their comfort, reputations and even their lives because they believed the Gospel called them to something more.
Visit the Holy Trouble Makers bulletin board in the main hallway to learn about five saints who dared to challenge the status quo. May the witness of these courageous women and men inspire us to ask, “What might God be calling us to challenge today?”
