Mass in the Grass Thank You!
An incredible event like Mass in the Grass doesn’t just happen! It takes countless hours of preparation and hard work to pull off this labor of love. In particular, gratitude is extended to:
- The Parish Life Committee for organizing the event.
- John Ball, Larry Hjorth, Ron DeNicolo and the Knights of Columbus for assisting with the setup.
- John Haspert for coordinating the sound.
- Belgio’s Catering for the delicious, buttery popcorn.
- Jessie Sappington for donating the Balloon Arch.
- The faith formation team for coordinating the children’s games.
- And so many more staff members and volunteers who gave of their time and talent to make this our most successful Mass in the Grass yet!
God blessed us with a beautiful day with almost 900 people of all ages attending. Parishioners generously donated several carts full of nonperishables for our food pantry as well as supported the St. Thomas Guest Artist fund which helps offset the cost of these events.
