(Elementary School accompanied by adult — Adult) Extend hospitality to all throughout the worship experience. This includes greeting at church doors, distributing liturgical resources, assisting with seating, monitoring the collection, ushering Holy Communion and dismissing. (Grade 4 — Adult) Assist presider with service to the altar; including processing with the Cross or Torches, carrying the presider texts and setting the altar for Holy Communion. Training is provided. For more details, see the manual here.

(High School — Adult) Prepare candles, vessels for the Liturgy of the Eucharist and other items for liturgies. Ministry differs slightly depending on the liturgy and sacraments being conferred (ex. (Elementary School accompanied by adult — Adult) Assist with tidying up the worship space during the week to prepare for weekend liturgies. This includes collecting discarded Worship Aids, organizing hymnals, etc.

(Adult) Periodically launder and press linens used for liturgical celebrations. This includes purificators, corporals, hand towels, and occasionally altar cloths and albs.

(High School — Adult) Team ministry that provides a monthly cleaning and overall maintenance of liturgical items in the Church and Chapel. This includes statues, altars, side tables, candle stands, tabernacle, and holy water basins.

(Team of Adults) Assist wedding party with liturgical preparations for their matrimony – including attendance for the rehearsal and marriage ceremony. Training is provided.

(High School — Adult) Create liturgical décor for celebrations throughout the year in all areas of the church. Creative use of textiles, flora and other materials used to engage the faithful in the liturgical seasons and cyclical nature of Catholic worship.
(114) Funeral Luncheon Ministry · CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
(Adult) Provide service to bereaved families at a luncheon following the funeral liturgy. This includes set-up and clean-up of facility as well as coordinating food distribution.
