St. Thomas Ministry of Care Team
Have you ever thought of being a part of the Ministry of Care Team at St. Thomas?
Ministry of Care is a pastoral ministry that looks after those who cannot be with us as a parish community. It is made up by men and women just like you who visit the sick and homebound in hospitals, convalescent centers and homes. They bring with them the good news of our faith community, our prayers and concern for them, and most importantly the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
Do you have concerns about this ministry? Ministry of Care training will enhance the gifts you already have and prepare you to minister to those in need in a very special way. You will also receive support in doing it and will be able to reflect with others on what is helpful in working with the sick.
