On Life’s Journey — July 24 is International Self-Care Day
Jesus taught us about self-care, often going off alone after preaching, to pray and rest. Take the month of July to reflect on your self-care options. Consider:
- Reflecting on your daily habits. Set simple, achievable self-care goals — whether that’s drinking more water, moving more or setting boundaries.
- Sharing your self-care routine or tips on social media to inspire others.
- Attending a wellness workshop, a retreat, class or webinar on nutrition, mental health, fitness, mindfulness or prayer.
- Take time to rest, unplug and reset — make the day a personal retreat from busyness and burnout.
