St. Thomas the Apostle Legacy Circle
What will your Legacy Be?
St. Thomas is establishing a way to leave your legacy to the future of the parish through: St. Thomas Legacy Circle —Today, Tomorrow, Forever. This is a program for those who wish to share in the future vision of St. Thomas. The program will provide continued support of the work of St. Thomas for generations to come.
We invite you to Advance Planning Night — The Best Gift You Can Give Your Family. It will be held in the Lighthouse Wednesday, January 14, from 6:30–8:00 pm. We have invited experts in funeral planning, estate planning and Diocesan planned giving to share some good advice on how to plan for the future and how to help your loved ones carry out your wishes. We will also share with you information about the St. Thomas Legacy Circle and how to participate.
We hope you can join us. Please RSVP to Michelle Kuhn at mkuhn@stapostle.org or call 630.355.8980, x100. Walk-ins are also welcome.

When you think of your parish, St. Thomas the Apostle, what comes to mind? The outreach to those in need, the fellowship, the music program, the opportunity to learn more about your Faith? Those who come after you should have the opportunity to experience the same.
In order for that to happen there has to be a plan in place. We have started to develop, over the past year, the St. Thomas the Apostle Legacy Circle. We invite you to join us. The Legacy Circle encourages you to leave a legacy to those who come after us, today, tomorrow and forever.
Today you may make an unrestricted gift to the parish to be used at the Pastor’s discretion or a restricted gift directed to a specific purpose. Or, for tomorrow, you may provide for the Parish to be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or your Qualified Retirement Benefits, for example.
Your legacy can also be left through a Donor Advisory Fund funded during your life time or at your death. Those funds can be distributed to St. Thomas annually or at the time of your death.
To learn more, we are having an information night January 15 at St. Thomas. Speakers will be a funeral director, an estate attorney and representatives from the Diocese of Joliet. Look out for more information about that evening and start thinking about What Will Your Legacy Be?
