Support Local Pregnancy Care Ministries
Every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves compassionate support, practical assistance and hope. Two local organizations dedicated to serving mothers and their children are hosting special fundraising events this October. We invite you to consider attending one of these events or supporting their mission through a donation.
Caring Network Night for Life
The Caring Network for Life event will support the life-affirming work of Caring Network, one of the pregnancy resource centers supported through our parish’s Christmas Swaddling Project. Caring Network operates nine pregnancy centers throughout the Chicagoland area, providing no-cost medical services and compassionate care for women facing unexpected pregnancies. The annual Night for Life Dinner will be held Thursday, October 22, from 6:00–8:30 pm at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. There is no cost to attend, though guests will be invited to donate to support this important ministry. Registration information can be found here.
Women’s Care Center Luxury Bingo
The Luxury Bingo event benefits Women’s Care Center and promises an enjoyable evening featuring bingo, food, beverages, fellowship and opportunities to support mothers and children in need. The event will be held Thursday, October 15, at Drury Lane Event Center in Oakbrook Terrace, beginning with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $150 per person.
