All students in grades 6–8 are welcome to join us Sunday, October 19, for a Middle School Family Mass at 6:00 pm. Immediately following we will have a presentation, “Peaceful Minds, Faithful Hearts: Guiding Students with Mindfulness Rooted in Christ.”

All are welcome at this event being presented by Maritza Felix, LSW, of Gateway Psychological Services. This event is a collaboration of the St. Thomas Middle School Faith Formation and the Behavioral Health Ministry.

Maritza has faced many significant challenges in her life and has a powerful testimony to the work of God, which has formed her through these times, and made her a conduit of God’s love to all she serves. This presentation is aimed to help parents and students partner together, and with God, to weather all the changes that this stage of life brings.
